Introduction to Film/Media Production

“Visual media has become a common in our contemporary society, and it’s essential to students to interpret how to read and write with graphics, sound, and text”.

CFS Introduction to Film/Media offers students to learn about film and media practices through historical study of American and world cinema, theoretical analysis, and creative, hands-on production in addition to:

  • Development of Production Skills
  • Hands of Training with Video Equipment
  • Placement in Film/Television Projects and Video Streaming

Upon completion of this program the student should be able to enter the film industry and be equipped to edit and produce video content with confidence. In addition to having the ability to utilize the techniques they have learned in the film industry.

All of these skills training opportunities will lead to possible careers within the film and media/production market.
